octo-pottery

this is my octobowl and octoplate. sadly i sort of made the bowl 'inside-out' and all the cool stuff is on the outside you wouldn't see if you use it like you normally do a bowl. and the inside is rather ugly so maybe it must be propped up for decoration only?

my brother bought me 17 bowls for christmas. i was helping my friend brooke move and she had a matching platter which she was nice enough to give to me!

new goodies

brie bought me a belated xmas gift this weekend...the cupcake book. it has the cutest ideas in it! there's even a whole garden patch idea.
the chicks are from anthropologie and they are for cream and sugar! they are so happy.

i got this alpaca yarn and crazy funky scarf from eric's parents. the yarn is so pretty but i'm scared to knit with it and mess it up!
